Environment & Diversity Project
Overview
The Environment & Diversity Project is a four-year collaborative initiative designed to help the Ontario environmental NGO community consider, develop and implement strategies to better reflect and engage under-represented communities. The project will:
- Train, support and inspire ENGOs interested in diversifying their audience;
- Place young professionals into each of the partner ENGOs to work with under represented communities and help them focus on reaching new audiences; and
- Create networks by facilitating links between numerous NGO diversity resources and the ENGO community.
Our initial focus is on ethno-cultural and Aboriginal diversity.
