Environmental and Leadership Management Program
Session Two: January 2007
Session two's focus was both on skill building and peer consultation. Participants spent considerable time reporting back on personal and organizational plans developed at session one. Each participant reported back and their peers provided feedback and suggestions on the challenges that came up in implementing their plans.
As with session one, participants were given the time to recharge. As part of taking time out from the work of the session, we visited the nearby home of Anthony and Mary Ketchum, an off-grid home built by the couple.
Beyond the peer interactions, participants attended three skill building clinics and an evening plenary. The skill building sessions included,: strategic communication with John Willis, web campaigning with Philip SMith and collaboration with Tonya Surman. The plenary session with Stuart Baker was as a strategic communications presentation focused and communicating with defined audiences.
